The site is in the new development district of Chengdu, east of the Yongfeng Road and north of the Jichang Road, with a background of intense urban construction, diverse cultural heritage, and important modern thinking. The critical development issues are a healthy and comfortable environment a vernacular in harmony with nature and the local climate within the area heritage context.
The separation of pedestrian and vehicle transportation concept, supports the building layout from the east to west, forming a number of half open courtyards. The clubhouse and the vegetable market are on the southeast with commercial spaces designed along the Jichang Road on the south. The design creates a commercial and residential separated community.
The master plan contains natural style landscape that dominates the community and introduces geometrical forms. Framed by the terrain, the green spaces mutually intersect and form the integrated community garden. The architecture exhibits a noble image and introduces western classical elements. Two vehicle entrances are on the south and west, a pedestrian entrance leads people into different courtyards with pools and pavement on the south. The edge of interior and exterior spaces is softened by the gardens and raised ground floor spaces. The continuity of natural landscape with planned landscape axis generates a quiet, idyllic atmosphere.
