The project is at the border of Suzhou Creek in Jing`an District of Shanghai. It creates a small-scale apartment and office space quarter of high quality. This quarter forms an international community with graceful spaces, natural facilities and a distinctive architectural style.

A simplified master plan forms a dramatic space with a variety of changing views. The large space is set back from Suzhou Creek allowing more sunlight into the site and provides the city street with more usable open space.

The 70~90m² apartments are arranged in a ‘jump floor’ system that promotes the enjoyment of the sunshine from the south and the view of Suzhou Creek from the north. Design flexibility makes it possible for some apartments to be incorporated into larger units. The ‘step design’ of the building volume creates many roof terraces and luxury penthouses that enrich the architectural vocabulary of the building.
